Conditions For Obtaining The Gift Of Eternal Life

The Requirements For Salvation

The Almighty Father in heaven Yahweh have set conditions for mankind in order to receive His gift of eternal life. Do you know what those specific conditions are? Today, we are going to share with you the requirements for salvation and will teach you how to receive the gift of eternal life according to Bible. This topic is of paramount importance if one is trying to seek the truth and is wanting to learn how to enter the Heavenly Kingdom. And yes, we’re inspired by our Father in heaven to preach this very boldly to you like Yahshua and His apostles did before us. It is our best hope that you’ll have the eyes to see as well as the ears to hear this true and faithful message. As always, we ask the Holy Spirit of Yahweh for help and guidance in teaching you this very important subject matter. Please show your love to others and to help us spread the Good News of the coming Kingdom by sharing this to all your family, friends and neighbors. May Yahweh bless you for doing so.

Salvation and eternal life comes as a result of Almighty Yahweh’s grace. It is His precious gift, unearned and undeserved on our part. Thus, no one will ever be able to boast that he or she has earned or deserves the gift of eternal life. Notice! The apostle Paul explains that “by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of Yahweh, not of your works, lest anyone should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9). But can doing things—or not doing things —disqualify us from receiving the wonderful gift of salvation? Yahshua the Messiah is called the author of our salvation. “Though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him” (Hebrews 5:8-9). Yes, Savior Yahshua offers eternal salvation only to those who obey Him! If there is an authority on receiving eternal life, it has to be Yahshua the Messiah. After all, He is the one through whom we receive it. Yahshua said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6) He also said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live” (John 11:25). Since Yahshua is the author of our salvation, let’s examine a few of His statements recorded in Bible that tell us what all peoples must do to receive the gift of salvation or eternal life.

Repentance of sin is an essential doctrine specifically mentioned in the preaching summary of Yahshua the Messiah. This should not be surprising since Yahshua said that “repentance and remission of sins should be preached to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem” (Luke 24:47). A correct understanding of repentance is absolutely necessary to receive the gift of salvation. The candidate for eternal life must know what repentance means, what to repent of, and how to distinguish between real and counterfeit repentance of sin. He or she should also have a solid understanding of how repentance relates to holy sorrow, divine grace, and saving faith. Therefore, repentance is a subject very deserving of careful study, as it is the divinely appointed means of repairing the broken relationship between Yahweh and the humankind. Yahshua also said, “Not everyone who says to Me, Master, Master, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven” (Matthew 7:21). Yahshua made it clear that merely acknowledging Him as the Master is not sufficient. To inherit the Kingdom, we must do the will of His Father! Obedience to Yahweh’s law is necessary for salvation! At one point a wealthy young man asked Yahshua how he could receive eternal life. “Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?” (Matthew 19:16). Yahshua responded, “If you want to enter into life, keep the Commandments” (Matthew 19:17). Yahshua didn’t answer that nothing is required other than believing in the Father or in Him. He told him that he must obey the commandments of Yahweh to receive the gift of eternal life. The Savior’s answer is very plain and clear!

Yahshua the Messiah gave another requirement or condition for Yahweh’s gift of eternal life. Yahshua said, “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned” (Mark 16:16). Water baptism—by full immersion (in water)—is a symbolic act representing the death of our old self and the beginning of a new life of serving Yahweh and striving to avoid sin (Romans 6:1-23). Baptism is also followed by the laying on of hands, which allows us to receive Yahweh’s Holy Spirit and truly belong to Him (Acts 8:17; Romans 8:9). Unless we surrender our lives to Yahweh through baptism and the laying on of hands to receive His Spirit as instructed, we fail to meet—whether knowingly or unknowingly—His prerequisites to receiving His gift of salvation. To those who would ignore these and other plain biblical instructions Yahshua replies, “But why do you call Me Master, Master, and do not do the things which I say? (Luke 6:46).

Furthermore, Yahshua the Messiah listed another requirement or condition we must meet to receive Yahweh’s gift of salvation. Yahshua said, “He who endures to the end will be saved” (Matthew 10:22). We can lose out on salvation if we fail to endure to the end. Once we have committed ourselves to obeying Yahweh and surrendering ourselves to Him, we must stay the course to the end and not look back. Yahshua said, “No one having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of Yahweh” (Luke 9:62). The apostle Paul also echoed Yahshua’s statement and said, “But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should also become disqualified” (1 Corinthians 9:27). Therefore, brethren, beware of the once saved always saved false doctrine!

In closing, the requirements for salvation cannot be ignored or overlooked if we want to enter the coming Kingdom of Yahweh. You may have heard the expression, “Salvation is free, but it isn’t cheap.” Yahweh’s gift of life to us cost Yahshua the Messiah His life! He, the very Son of Yahweh, willingly surrendered His life so that we might receive Yahweh’s wonderful gift of eternal life! But He expects us to fully surrender our lives to Him in return. Yahshua said, “If you want to be My follower, you must love Me more than your own father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, more than your own life. Otherwise, you cannot be My disciple. And you cannot be My disciple if you do not carry your own stake and follow Me” (Luke 14:26-27). Our love for and commitment to Yahshua the Messiah and the Most High Yahweh the Father must be more important to us than any other relationship. Each of us must be very willing to bear his “cross,” to faithfully follow Yahshua even through life’s most difficult challenges. The Savior of mankind Yahshua have forewarn us to consider carefully that accepting the gift of eternal life comes at the highest cost we can imagine. He said, “So no one can become My disciple without giving up everything for Me…” (Luke 14:28-33). Yahweh loved us so much that He wants us all to be saved! “For Yahweh so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). As Yahshua the Messiah gave His life for us, we must be also willing to give our lives to follow Him! We hope that you’re blessed by this heavenly kingdom message. May Yahweh keep you and bless you. We humbly ask and pray these things in the saving name of our coming Master, our Savior and King, Yahshua the Messiah, Amen. Halleluyah and Shalom!
