Feast of Unleavened Bread 2023 Greeting and Blessing

Our Feast of Unleavened Bread 2023 greeting and blessing to all of you, our family, friends, brethren, brothers and sisters who are believers and followers of Yahshua, our Messiah!

Today, after the Passover holy day, we come together to celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread. This holy day is for reflection and thanksgiving as we commemorate the liberation of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt.

But beyond that, the Feast of Unleavened Bread holds a deeper meaning for us as believers and followers of Yahshua the Messiah.

In the Bible, leaven represents sin and corruption. During the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Israelites were commanded to remove all leaven from their homes and eat only unleavened bread for seven days. This symbolized their commitment to live a life free from sin and corruption.

For us as believers and followers of Yahshua, the symbolism of Unleavened Bread takes on an even greater significance. We know that sin separates us from Yahweh and that the penalty for sin is death.

But because of the sacrifice of Yahshua on the stake, we have been forgiven of our sins and have received eternal life because of our faith and obedience.

As we partake in the unleavened bread during this feast, let us remember the sacrifice that was made for us and recommit ourselves to living a life that is holy and pleasing to Yahweh. Let us strive to remove all sin and corruption from our lives and to live in a way that glorifies Him.

Brothers and sisters, we have been given a great gift in the forgiveness of our sins. Let us never take this gift for granted but instead live our lives fully devoted to Him. May this Feast of Unleavened Bread be a reminder of His love for us and a call to live a life that reflects that love for others.

And to those who are wondering what the Feast of Unleavened Bread is about, its purpose, and its significance to all mankind, feel free to keep reading.

The Feast of Unleavened Bread is a significant holy day event that commemorates the liberation of the Israelites from Egypt. This festival is Jewish in origin which lasts for seven days, during which time no leavened bread is consumed, and only unleavened bread is eaten.

However, for Christians, the Feast of Unleavened Bread takes on an additional layer of symbolism. It is a time to reflect on the sacrifice of Yahshua and the forgiveness of sins that it represents.

The Feast of Unleavened Bread begins on the 15th day of the Jewish month of Nisan, immediately following Passover. During this time, the Israelites were commanded to remove all leaven from their homes and eat only unleavened bread.

The reason for this was to remember the haste with which they left Egypt, as they did not have time to wait for their bread to rise. However, for Christians, this feast takes on a deeper meaning.

The Bible tells us that Yahshua celebrated the Feast of Unleavened Bread with His disciples, just before His death on the stake. During this celebration, Yahshua took bread and wine and gave thanks, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” (Luke 22:19-20)

This act of breaking bread and sharing wine has come to be known as Yahshua’s Last Supper with His disciples.

For Christians, the unleavened bread is a symbol of Yahshua’s sinless nature. In the same way that the Israelites were commanded to remove all leaven from their homes, Christians believe that Yahshua removed all sin from their life.

Yahshua’s sacrifice on the stake represents the ultimate act of forgiveness, as He took on the sins of humanity and paid the price for them.

In the book of Hebrews, it says, “For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.” This means that Yahshua’s sacrifice on the stake was enough to forgive all sins, for all time.

The Feast of Unleavened Bread is a reminder of this incredible act of love and forgiveness of Almighty Yahweh and Savior Yahshua for us.

In addition to the symbolism of the bread, the Feast of Unleavened Bread also reminds us of the importance of repentance. Just as the Israelites had to remove all leaven from their homes, we must remove all sin from our lives.

This means confessing our sins and turning away from them, seeking forgiveness and reconciliation with Yahweh.

The Feast of Unleavened Bread is a powerful reminder of the forgiveness that is available to us through Yahshua the Messiah. It is a time to reflect on the incredible love that Yahweh has for us, and the sacrifice that Yahshua made on our behalf.

As we celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread in 2023, let us remember that we will be forgiven of our sin if we continue to be true and faithful to keep and obey the words (Bible) of Almighty Yahweh until the end of our life!

So therefore, let us strive to live lives that are pleasing to Yahweh our Elohim and to follow in Yahshua’s footsteps.

And in closing, now we pray: May Yahweh bless you and keep you; may Yahweh make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; may Yahweh lift up His countenance upon you and give you His peace. Halleluyah! Amen.

  1. My Mom was born and partly raised in Israel. When I was 12 years old she took me to visit her relatives for the first time. I was looking forward to some baguette with ham and cheese but instead was served an oversized cracker with some spread! At that age I didn’t know about sin or corruption, but hey, I was hungry, and I ate the matzoh.
