The State Of The People In The Last days

The State Of People In The Last Days

The state of people in the last days, or what the people would be like in the last days should be properly identified and it must be correctly understood by all of us. The Bible foretold that during the last days, the people would be full of pain and suffering. The prophet Daniel wrote about the end of the age or the so-called last days. He clearly said: “The knowledge shall increase” (Daniel 12:4). First, we need to learn about a war that took place in heaven so that we can understand why things are so bad here on the earth and its people. When Satan the devil and his demons lost the war in heaven they were thrown down to the earth. After that troubles for the humankind has started. Why? Because Satan is very angry, “knowing that he has a short period of time” (Revelation 12:7, 9, 12). The Wicked One is causing as much trouble as he can on earth. Today, we will discuss biblical evidence that we are living in the time just before the end of the age. As always, we ask the Almighty Father Yahweh for His wisdom to teach you these heavenly things. May you have the eyes to see and the ears to hear for this faithful message.

The Bible says: “In the last days perilous times hard to deal with will be here” (2 Timothy 3:1-5). The apostle Paul described how many people would behave just before and during the end of the age. He said people would be selfish, love money, disobey their parents, not be loyal, lack of affection for their family, have no self-control, be violent and aggressive, love pleasures more than Elohim (Yahweh), and pretend to love Elohim but refuse to obey Him! Do many people behave like this where you live? All over the world, many do. But Elohim will soon do something about it. He promises: “When the wicked sprout like weeds and all the wrongdoers flourish, it is that they may be annihilated or destroyed forever”! (Psalm 92:7). The apostle Paul explained that the destruction of the wicked will come when most of the people don’t expect it, “like a thief in the night” (1 Thessalonians 5:2). The Savior of humankind Yahshua prophesied that many would choose to ignore the evidence that we’re living in the end of the age. Yahshua said: “Just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of Man (the last days) will be. For as they were in those days before the Great Flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until that day that Noah entered into the ark, and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of Man will be” (Matthew 24:37-39). Yes, a time will surely come when Elohim will remove all wickedness, and that includes Satan and his demons!

Besides the aforementioned things people in the “last days” will exhibit behaviors the Almighty Yahweh hates like Murder (Exodus 20:13; 21:22, 23), Sexual immorality(Leviticus 20:10, 13, 15, 16; Romans 1:24, 26, 27, 32; 1 Corinthians 6:9, 10), Demonism (Deuteronomy 18:9-13; 1 Corinthians 10:21, 22; Galatians 5:20, 21), Idolatry (1 Corinthians 10:14), Violence (Psalm 11:5; Proverbs 22:24, 25; Malachi 2:16; Galatians 5:20, 21), Greed (1 Corinthians 5:11), Lying (Proverbs 6:16, 19; Colossians 3:9; Revelation 22:15), Stealing (Leviticus 6:2, 4; Ephesians 4:28), Bad language and gossip (Leviticus 19:16; Ephesians 5:4; Colossians 3:8), Wrong use of blood (Genesis 9:4; Acts 15:20, 28, 29), Refusal to provide for your family (1 Timothy 5:8), Drunkenness (1 Corinthians 5:11), Smoking and Drug abuse (Mark 15:23; 2 Corinthians 7:1),  and getting yourself involved in War and Politics (Isaiah 2:4; John 6:15; 17:16). Since the end is so close, what do we need to do? Take your study of the Bible seriously (John 17:3). Make needed changes in your life so that you can draw closer to Elohim (James 4:8). Avoid distractions and focus your life on worshiping Yahweh (Luke 21:34-36). Yahshua the Messiah said that we should not be distracted with overeating and heavy drinking and anxieties of life. Yes, the end will come suddenly “as a snare” and it “will come upon all those dwelling on the face of the whole earth.” Then He added: “Keep awake, then, all the time making supplication (praying very sincerely) that you may succeed in escaping all these things that must occur in the end and in standing before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:34-36). Yes, the state of people in the last days would be full of pain and suffering! But the Bible also says that good things will happen when the Kingdom of Yahweh comes to earth! As we wait for the return of Yahshua and the Kingdom of Elohim the Bible tells us to “Repent and be converted, that our sins may be blotted out and the times of refreshing may come from the presence of Yahweh” (Acts 3:19).

In closing, we have to love what Elohim loves. We must stop doing what He says is wrong, but we must also do more (Romans 12:9). The true followers and real believers of Yahweh Elohim imitate His qualities and show “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, and self-control” (Galatians 5:22-23). The changes that you may need to make in your life can be compared to taking off old clothes and putting on new ones. The Bible says that we need to “strip off the old personality” and clothe ourselves with “the new personality” (Colossians 3:9, 10). Even though it may not be easy, when we make these changes and obey Elohim, He promises to give us “a Great Reward” (Psalm 19:11). Yes, choose to obey Yahweh and Yahshua the Messiah now and prove that Satan is a liar! Serve Elohim, not because of any future reward we’ll get, but because of our unselfish love to others just like Yahshua did for us. When we obey Yahweh and Yahshua we prove that Satan is a big liar. What will help us to be obedient? The Bible tells us: “You must love Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart, and all your soul, and all your strength” (Deuteronomy 6:5). We obey Yahweh and Yahshua because we love Them. As our love for Them grows, we will want to do everything They asks us to do. The apostle John wrote: “This is what the love of Elohim means, that we observe His Commandments and His Commandments are not burdensome” (1 John 5:3). May Yahweh Elohim bless you and keep you. And may the fruits of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) be with you. Let us continue to spread love, faith, hope and truth. We pray all these to Yahweh through Yahshua our Messiah, Master and King, Amen. Halleluyah, Shalom!
