Yahshua Is The Name Of The Savior

Many people, including some sincere Christians, are led to believe by their religious leaders that “Jesus” is the real name of the Savior. If you believe this, then our message today will be very beneficial to your spiritual well-being and your honest journey to biblical understanding. Replacing the Name of the Messiah with a man-made name “Jesus” is clearly identity theft. In fact, not letting the people know the true Name of the Savior is the second greatest cover-up in all of human history! Β The first greatest cover-up is not letting the people know that YAHWEH is the Name of the Almighty Father in heaven. You can know this Bible truth here. In this study we will show you that Yahshua is the Name of the Savior. As always we will let the Bible interpret itself and ask for the ever guiding wisdom of the Holy Spirit of Yahweh to help us do just that. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones to know the whole truth about this very, very important subject matter!

Why is knowing the real name of the Messiah important? Frankly, to know and call on the Name of the true Savior is so critically important and very serious as the very salvation of your soul depends on it! Many people say the Messiah has the popular “Jesus” on His Name. The fact is, “Jesus” is not the genuine name of the Messiah, and never was! Yahshua is the true name of the Savior! In our previous study we mentioned to you that Rabbinic tradition suppressed the true name Yahweh out of fear of pronouncing the ineffable Name. In Hebrew, Jewish scribes inserted a vowel point, shewa (:) instead of the proper qamets (a), thus changing the sound “ah” in “Yah” to “eh.” This was done to strongly hide the sacred name Yahshua and yielded the improper Yeshua, from which the improper “Jesus” arose! This may have been done to avoid offending the Jews and their proscription against even the short form YAH from the name YAHweh. Thus, we have the Savior’s Name beginning with “JE” when it should be “YAH” as in “halleluYAH.” We don’t say “halleluYEH.” Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance Hebrew Dictionary reveals this erroneous vowel pointing of YAH to YEH in the first column of page 48 where the resulting “YEH” is clear. In every name in this column, a shewa (:) appears under the Hebrew letter yod (y:), so that the pronunciation, following the Hebrew spelling, begins with the prefix “YEH.” We do encourage you to look it up now and see it for yourself.

Furthermore, there is not now nor was there ever an equivalent letter “J” in the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet. Nor is there any Hebrew letter that carries even an approximate sound of the consonant letter “J.” Neither is there a letter “J” in the Greek alphabet. In addition, when the capital “I” was given a cursive tail around the year 1500 C.E. to become the “J,” it also took up the sound of the French “J” as in “journal.” The Savior’s Name soon was corrupted to “Jesus” in English. Following the example in the Septuagint, Christian scholars did attempt to substitute the Savior’s Name as it was written in the Greek. As the Savior’s Name was then translated into the Latin directly from the Greek translation, we have the masculine, nominative singular ending in “s,” which was erroneously brought into the Latin as “Iesous,” and later became “Jesus.” They translated the sacred name of Yahshua rather than transliterate His name as they should have done! They substituted and disguised the holy Name of Yahshua, giving us the erroneous hybrid “Jesus.” Two examples are Acts 7:45 and Hebrews 4:8. Both verses refer to Joshua, the leader of Israel in the Old Testament. Yet, in those verses He is called “Jesus”! The New Testament translators automatically changed it to Latinized Greek substitute. Clearly, this was a mistake by translators, and a very revealing error at that. The Bible warns against adding to or taking from the Word. Almighty Yahweh warns about changing the biblical text in any manner (Deuteronomy 4:2). You can’t flip-flop the Word of Yahweh ever, period.

Understand also that the Bible specifically says there is no other Name given for salvation! It does not say there no other “person,” which might allow you to call Him by whatever name you wish. Yahshua is the only Name by which we have salvation! Salvation is through Him alone! As it’s written: “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Yahshua is the name given by the angel Gabriel to His earthly mother Miriam (Mary) before He was born as Man on earth. The Savior clearly avowed: “I am come in My Father’s Name” (John 5:43). This passage means that He carried His Father’s Name. Its meaning is not limited solely to His coming by authority or command of the Heavenly Father. The Savior Yahshua indeed came in the name of His Father, for His very name Yahshua means “the salvation of YAH.” His Name contains the sacred, heavenly family name Yah: YAHshua. Some of the prophets carried His Name, such as Zecharyah, Obadyah, and Zephanyah.

Please take a very hard look and notice that Yahshua Messiah was born in Bethlehem of Judea of a Jewish virgin who spoke Hebrew, a Semitic dialect. The Savior was born into a society where Hebrew was the common language. He was born to save His people from their sins. His Name, therefore, would literally reflect this meaning and mission. Understand that names in the Bible have deep significance and have definite meanings. Just to give you an example, the name “Isayah” means “Yahweh has saved” and “Yeremiyah” means “Yahweh will exalt.” Again, the Name Yahshua literally means “Yahweh saves” or “Yahweh is salvation.” Very clearly, Savior Yahshua carries His Father’s family Name YAH. The apostle Paul reveals: “Therefore Yahweh also has highly exalted Him and given Him the Name which is above every name, that at the Name of Yahshua every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Yahshua is Master, to the glory of Yahweh the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11). So when you invoke Yahshua you are also invoking Yahweh the Father and His salvation through His Son Yahshua.

The apostle Peter also confirms our very salvation is through the Name Yahshua when he said: “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Yahshua Messiah for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38). Yahshua sternly warned about refusal to call on His true Name when He said: “Many will say to me in that day, Master, Master, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works? And then I will declare to them, I never knew you: depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness” (Matthew 7:22-23). Sin is defined as lawbreaking. As it’s written: “Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness” (1 John 3:4). Along with knowing and using His Name is the obedience that goes with it. Living a unique life of obedience is what He means by giving glory to His Name. Yahshua is the Name of the Savior and those who honor His Name will receive the blessings of life everlasting as they call on the only Name that offers salvation! Genuine worship to the Savior is done through honoring His Name first. Yahshua’s Name is very important to Him because His Name defines Him! His Name is His authority and signifies it powerfully!

The Holy Spirit of Almighty Yahweh want us to proclaim once and for all to the nations and peoples of this earth that the Name of His Savior Son is Yahshua! The Messiah’s Name is Hebrew. His Name Yahshua will never change whether you speak English or any other language! His Name Yahshua will never change whether you live in America or in another country! “Jesus” was never the name of the Hebrew Savior and it will never be! This was a man-made and erroneous name of the Messiah developed first by the superstitious Jewish scribes, and then perpetuated through the ignorance of the Hebrew language of Christian scholars who translated the Name Yahshua from Greek into Latin, and then English, losing the Hebrew and we end up with a Latinized-Greek hybrid name “Jesus.” Notice! The true worshipers of Philadelphia Assembly mentioned in Chapter 3 of Revelation were credited for not having denied the Savior’s one and only Name. This very faithful end-time congregation are offered safety and protection during the tribulation. Here’s what Master and Savior Yahshua tells them: “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it, for you have a little strength, have kept My Word, and have not denied My Name” (Revelation 3:8).

In conclusion, when you are seeking for Bible Truths and they become clear one must continue to seek and learn. There is so much we can learn and know when we take the time to study the Holy Scriptures. Upon learning the truth, we are to walk obediently in it. Once we know the truth, past ignorance does not justify our continuing in ignorance. Refusal to call on the true Name of the Savior is a condition of the heart. It says to Him you have no real desire to honor Him in all things. It just says you are not completely true to Him if you can’t even honor Him by calling His genuine Name. “The times of this ignorance Yahweh winked at, but now commands all men everywhere to repent” (Acts 17:30). Yes, repent now for dishonoring His Son’s Name! All these maybe burdensome and technical to you, but we’re called to proclaim the truth of the Bible regarding the true Name of the Savior Yahshua. Yahweh reveals His truth to those who willingly seek and follow Him. May the truth and love of the Most High Yahweh and Savior Yahshua be with you. Shalom, Halleluyah!
