The Unloving Truths About Valentine’s Day

The unloving truths about Valentine’s Day, do you know them? Many sincere men and women in the world are happily and lovingly celebrating special days like the Valentine’s day, thinking they are true Christian holiday. However, the majority of professing Christians today who observe these holidays are simply unaware of their origins. The concept of modern Christianity today has fully adopted “Christianized” pagan holiday that have evolved from occult religious observances. The United States of America, countries in South America and all of Europe have openly and enthusiastically celebrating pagan holidays such as Valentine’s day. What is the mystery behind the celebration of February 14 or Valentine’s day? Most importantly, does the Bible agree with this? In our message today we will uncover for you the dark secrets about Valentine’s day. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones to know the sinister facts about this day and let the truth set you free (John 8:32). As always, we’ll let the Bible interpret itself and the Holy Spirit of Yahweh guide us as we discuss this supposedly “love” day with you.

To begin, Valentine’s day is a ritual festival that encourages physical lust. While most people view this day as the day to honor their wife or their lover, this celebration is deeply rooted and connected to paganism. Do you know that the name February comes from the Roman goddess Februa or St. Febronia? She is the patroness of the passion of love. In Roman times she did promote orgiastic rites where young men would draw billets, naming their female partners for fever of love feasts or sexual orgies acts. February 14 is a day in which wild and lustful passion is encouraged. The following occult pagan gods is associated on Valentine’s day: Cupid or Tammuz, the son of Venus; Jupiter or Nimrod, the head deity and sun god; and Venus or Semiramis, the daughter of Jupiter, presented as the “queen” of heaven. As Christian, will you follow these false gods? Will you accept truth or lie?

Furthermore, Valentine’s day is also connected to an ancient Roman festival called Lupercalia, also known as Februatio. This festival honored Juno, the Roman goddess of women and marriage, and Pan, the god of nature. This occult occasion was an annual ritual festivity believed by the Romans to ward off evil spirits and increase fertility. The pagan practice of Lupercalia or Februatio has picked up more popularity since A.D. 496, gradually adapting and renaming itself into the Valentine’s day we know today, which included the added elements of Valentine cards and Cupid or Eros, the false Roman god of erotic love. This Valentine has eventually become a religious deity to many religions, camouflaging itself as a true patron saint of “love” and the day of “romance.” Of course the Most High Yahweh is not opposed to pure love and clean romance at the right time in the right way. The Father in heaven Yahweh is all love and He want us to use love correctly. Valentine’s represents wrong love!

But what does Almighty Yahweh say about practicing or celebrating the pagan traditions of people? Here is what the Bible say about it: “For laying aside the commandment of Yahweh, you hold the tradition of men–the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do” (Mark 7:8). The traditions of people make the Holy Scriptures ineffective because of disobedience. Again, the Bible say this: “Making the Word of Yahweh of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do” (Mark 7:13). We’re not going to apologize saying this to you, but dressing up or repackaging Lupercalia or Februatio in the form of Valentine’s day remain just as abominable in the sight of Yahweh and Yahshua Messiah. Ask yourself: Now that you know the celebration of February 14 is a pagan and man-made tradition, will you still continue to commemorate it? We hope that you wouldn’t. May Yahweh’s Holy Spirit open up your understanding to decipher the right from wrong.

In conclusion, Almighty Yahweh have told us all through the Bible to beware of false gods and all man-made traditions. The Bible say: “When Yahweh your Elohim cuts off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you displace them and dwell in their land, take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise. You shall not worship Yahweh your Elohim in that way; for every abomination to Yahweh which He hates they have done to their gods; for they burn even their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods. Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it or nor take away from it” (Deuteronomy 12:29-32). The Bible’s Book of Revelation say: “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and Yahweh has remembered her iniquities” (Revelation 18:4-5). You may disobey this holy command, but there is nothing you and us could do about to null and void this sacred instruction. The unloving truths about Valentine’s day may be very hard for many people to accept but we have to tell the truth. Now it’s up to you what to do about it. May Yahweh bless you and keep you for listening and obeying this true and faithful heavenly message. These things we humbly ask and pray to Yahweh through Savior Yahshua our Master and King, Amen. Shalom and Halleluyah!

  1. I enjoyed reading your post because it gave a different perspective on the research I had recently done on the origins of Valentine’s Day. As a parent, I’m leery of what “traditions” I support before understanding their full scope. Currently, I try my best to be informed and then relate it to the teachings of our Lord and Savior.

  2. This is such an informative post! To be honest, back in the day I have never seen my parents or anyone of their age had celebrated Valentine’s Day ever. Even we as young kids didn’t celebrate it. Thank you so much for sharing this post with us.

  3. I agree that “pure love and clean romance at the right time in the right way”, should be experienced between married couples, not in celebration for Valentine’s day. Thanks for reminding us to truly understand what we are celebrating before we do.

  4. I think Valentine’s Day is so dumb. I haven’t ever liked it. It’s like Halloween but on a different day. It’s a holiday made for getting people to spend money on empty calories or things they don’t need when you should love and show love every day.

  5. Personally Valentine’s Day is inflated as well as commercial. Why should it ever be the only day of the year when I should receive a gift or something special? And it’s because “this is how it should be”? No, I would prefer something spontaneous regardless of a date.

  6. Have learn something new today. I think for most people it’s on Valentine’s day when they are showing appreciation and recognition of love and support in their lives.
