Why It’s Time To Stop Guessing and Start Knowing Yahweh

Have you ever walked through a crowded city and felt a strange sense of spiritual hunger? You see it in the way people chase after success, the way they obsess over their health, or even the way they dive into “spirituality” without any real direction. We live in a world that is incredibly “religious,” but it’s a religion without a face.

It reminds me so much of the Apostle Paul’s experience in Athens. If you open your Bible to Acts 17:22-23, you’ll find Paul standing in the Areopagus—the center of intellectual and religious life. He looks around at these brilliant, philosophical people and says:

“Men of Athens, I perceive that in every way you are very religious. For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription: ‘To the unknown God’ (Elohim). What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you.”

The Tragedy of the “Unknown”

Think about the irony of that inscription. These people were desperate to cover their bases. They had a god for the harvest, a god for war, and a god for the sea—but they were so terrified of missing the “Real One” that they built a monument to a deity they didn’t even know.

Friends, we are doing the exact same thing today.

We see millions of people worshiping at the altars of modern life. We worship our own reflection. We worship political ideologies. We worship the “universe” as some vague, distant energy. People are pouring out their souls to a “deity” they cannot define, hoping that somehow, in the end, it will be enough.

But worshiping what you do not know isn’t devotion—it’s ignorance. And while that’s a heavy word, it’s the truth we have to confront if we want to be free.

The Creator is Not a Secret

Paul didn’t leave them in their mystery. He told them clearly: The Elohim who made the world and everything in it doesn’t live in temples made by human hands. He isn’t served by human hands as if He needed anything. He is the Creator. He gives life, breath, and everything else to us.

We have spent far too long treating Elohim like a puzzle we have to solve or a ghost we have to chase. The truth is, He has revealed Himself. The “Unknown Elohim” has stepped out of the shadows. He isn’t a “force”—He is Yahweh, the Father, the King, and the Judge!

A Call to Repentance

Here is the part where I have to be brutally honest with you as a Church elder. Paul told the Athenians that Yahweh “overlooked the times of ignorance,” but that time has passed. Now, He commands everyone, everywhere, to repent. Yes, repent!

Why? Because you cannot worship the true Elohim while still holding onto the hands of false ones. You cannot keep one foot in the world’s “spiritual” cafeteria and one foot in the Kingdom of Heaven. Repentance isn’t just about saying “sorry”; it’s about a total U-turn. it’s admitting that the things you’ve been living for are dead ends. It’s walking away from the false gods and idols of self, money, and vague spirituality and bowing before the Creator who actually holds your breath in His hands.

Proclaiming the Hidden Truth

This is why our mission is so urgent. Here at Yahshua the Messiah Ministry, we are not here to give you “tips for a better life” or “vague inspiration.” We are boldly proclaiming this hidden truth to the nations!

For too long, the true identity of the Messiah and the nature of the Father have been obscured by tradition, philosophy, and human ego. But the nations need to know the truth. People need to know that Yahshua the Messiah is the one through whom the world will be judged in righteousness.

We are standing in the modern-day Areopagus—on the internet, in the streets, and across borders—shouting that the “Unknown Elohim” is known! He is reachable. He is calling you home. But that homecoming requires you to drop the gods and idols you’ve been carrying.

It’s Time to Choose

Don’t be like the Athenians who walked away saying, “We’ll hear you again on this later.” Tomorrow isn’t promised. The Creator is revealing Himself to you right now, in this moment.

Stop worshiping what you don’t know. Turn away from the ignorance of the past. Embrace the truth of Messiah Yahshua, and start walking with the Elohim who actually created you.

Now, let’s pray together.

Creator Elohim and Almighty Father in heaven Yahweh, forgive us for the times we have worshiped things that cannot save us. We thank You for revealing the truth through Yahshua the Messiah Ministry and for calling us out of ignorance. Help us to walk boldly in Your light. In Yahshua’s precious name we pray, Amen. Halleluyah, shalom!
